The public is invited to view outstanding student-produced video stories on the big screen at PBS Hawaiiâ€™s first-ever Hiki NÅ Festival. The featured stories, produced last school year, have aired on PBS Hawaiiâ€™s student news program, Hiki NÅ, and are nominated in this yearâ€™s Hiki NÅ Awards. Hiki NÅ is Hawaiiâ€™s first statewide student news network, made up of 86 public, private and charter schools from across the islands. Through the production of video news stories about their schools and communities, students gain valuable workforce and life skills, while teachers engage their students in hands-on, collaborative learning.Read more

Tom Felton, the English actor famous for his role as Draco Malfoy, the foil of Harry Potter in the popular movie series, is a budding musician who has discovered magic in the Hawaiian Islands.
Tom has just released a solo song titled â€œHawaiiâ€ which laments the chilly weather and traffic snarls of everyday England for the laidback life under the palm trees on the Island of Hawaii.
